Review : Daiso Jewel Eyecolor Palette

Sunday is always a shopping day. I am damn broke this month so I can only shop in some place that are more affordable, thus Daiso!

I've never dare to try any make up from Daiso because the price is too good to be true. But seeing the post of Connie from Skin Deco, it sounds like there is something good in Daiso.

I was suppose to be ban from shopping already due to my overspending for this month, but one item from Daiso will only cost RM5 right. So cheap can die! So I said to myself that I can get 1 thing from there. Just one! So it is like of course that I'll take the palette featured in Connie's post.

There are 4 colors available for this Jewel Eyecolor Palette which will be Blue, Green, Purple and Pink. I only saw 4 types there so I'm assuming that there's only 4 of them. Now this is hard for me. I can only take 1. Only 1. Since the blue palete looks so nice in Connie's post, it means I'll def gonna get this. But I like green.... and the green 1 is the last stock already! Something in my head keep telling me this will be the best reason to take the green palette as well. What if they are dis-continued. What if they never restock... Somemore it's only RM5 and I won't die from paying another extra RM5, right? Muahaha... I bought two of them... :p

There are 6 colors in total for each palette. If I'm not mistaken, the 3 round pan color are shimmer colors while the 3 rectangular pan are matte colors. They are generally quite pigmented for their price. However, I would say that I won't use these palettes anymore. Yes, no more. It is simply because they smell like some toxicated chemical items that will poison you into some experimental failure junk and I have sensitive nose, a dog's nose (LOL!). Seriously I had to hold my breath now and then during the swatching session. Bad bad bad...

Now let's all check for the swatches. Let's start with the green palette first.
Note : Swatch with the smudge brush provided.

Number 1 to 6 are count from Right to Left. This swatch is without flash.

Below are the closer look for the colors. As usual, without and with flash. (Left to Right, 6 to 1)

Now it's the blue palette. Same like the green palette, 1 to 6 = right to left.

And here's the closer pix. (left to right, 6 to 1)

So as I said, I won't use these anymore and I only swatched once with the brush provided. I will be happy to give them out for free and of course you have to bare the postage of RM3 for both. Just leave comment and state your email. :)

That's all for now.

xoxo,
Janice
