Benefit Valley of the Stars

After reviewing Benefit Justine Case, I'll go on to another make up kit from Benefit Cosmetics. This new baby is called "Valley of the Stars" or known as the "Mini Iridescence Kit". The packaging is so beautiful even though it's just thick paper box.

Valley of the Stars have the same type of arrangement like the Justine Case. It has a medium size but good enough mirror and also a mini leaflet for explanation & instruction.

Include in this kit is a lip gloss, a face highlighter, a face illuminator and 2 eyeshadows. They all have nice and lovely names. :D

Lip Gloss : Her Glossiness in V.I.P.
- An impossibly shiny pink gloss that glides on for the sexiest V.I.P. lips.

Face Highlighter : High Beam
- This satiny pink highlighter is a "Supermodel in a bottle".

- This golden apricot face illuminator brings a daringly darling glow to your skin.
- Dot & blend over or under makeup, anywhere your face needs dramatic spot highlighting.

Eyeshadow 1 : Tequila Gold
- A shimmering tequila gold shadow to brilliantly brighten the eyes.
- With fingers, sweep across the entire eye lid area for 14-carat gorgeousness.

Eyeshadow 2 : Snow White
- A pearly, snow white shadow to create a flash of light around the eyes.
- Dab on the inner corners of the eyes & underneath the bottom lashes & watch your peepers sparkle!

They are all having the same type of doe wand applicator and it's really really really CUTE!!! I'm a genius to take photo like this. xD

Alright, swatch time!

All the colors are lovely. I especially love both the shadows. I can use just both this shades for a simple day look and the white shade is fabulous for highlighting inner eye. LOVE!!! The lipgloss is very glossy too but the color is a little too sheer to show in the photo. So I'll skip the photo of my lips with the gloss on. Sexiness shouldn't be seen too oftenly. :p

Moon beam is a good face illuminator. I'll like to mix it with my foundation for a glowing effect. Super natural but don't over do it, else you'll be more like a disco ball than a star. High beam is very very shimmery, in fact, too shimmer for day use. However, using highbeam to highlight your features is really effective and if you wanted to give impression during your night's out, use this! Do not forget to apply some on your collar bone too. :D

As conclusion, this is a handy make up kit to bring along during your trip. Do you like this kit???
